2006 年 に始動以降COLLAGEそしてMETROへと場所を 変え、クラブ以外でも屋上のルーフトップやカフェ・バー、ラウンジ、ショップレセプション、 国際写真展とのコラボレーション等活動を広げ、日本、世界の著名DJを招待し、京都のJAZZ/CROSSOVERミュージックを発信し続けてきた、"DoitJAZZ!" が送るスペシャルな夜は、ヨーロッパの中でも特にダンスミュージックシーンの盛んなオランダ・アムステルダムにて、世界で活躍するアーティストを招待しているパーティ 「Brighter Days」の運営を通して実力をつけ、次世代シーンの中核と評価をされているKAMMAとMASALOが登場。彼らはLocal TalkやRush Hourといったおなじみのレーベルからのリリースを控え、METROとの親交も深いDegoが所属する 「sounds familiar」に加わるなど、これからの活動が見逃せない。迎えるのは、多くの海外DJのサポートもこなしてきた次世代を担う京都実力派メンバーにて、オランダ×京都による ジャンルを超えてクロスオーヴァーするダンスミュージックをお見逃しなく！
From 2006 we started the COLLAGE and changed our location to the METRO. We expanded our activities outside clubs to rooftops, cafe bars, lounges, store receptions and collaborations with international photo exhibits. We invited famous DJs in Japan and the world and continue to air Kyoto jazz/crossover music. On the special nights when we broadcast "Do it JAZZ!" we put our real efforts through organizing "Brighter Days", a party where we invite artists who are known all over the world to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where the dance music scene is all the rage in particular, even among all the other European countries and where Kamma and Masalo. who are acknowledged to be the core of the next generation, take the stage. They refrain from making releases from a familiar level like Local Talk and Rush Hour, and among other things, in addition to "sounds familiar" where Dego belongs, who has a deep relationship with METRO, their activities are not to be missed. What we welcome is dance music that you can't overlook, that crosses over beyond the The Netherlands x Kyoto genre, through members who show what Kyoto can do and are responsible for the next generation who have come to be able to avail of support from many DJs overseas.

Kamma & Masalo
ダンスミュージック原産国として疑いの余地がないオランダ・アムステルダムをベースに着実に力をつけているユニット、Kamma & Masalo。地元で2人が運営するParty「Brighter Days」は過去にMarcellus Pittman、Rick Wilhite、 Osunlade、Atjazz、KarizmaそしてJamie 3:26らを招き世代を超えたクラウドを魅了。次世代のシーンを担う中核として評価されている。それもそのはず、Kammaは父、母が共に25年を超えるベテランのDJ(彼らの後輩にはあのRush HourのAntalも)の間に生まれ、レコードが敷き詰められた家で育ったサラブレットとして、若くしてDimention Festivalなどにも出演。一方のMasaloも日本とオランダのハーフとして多様な価値観を持ち、その強烈な個性から様々なサポートを受け着実にキャリアアップ。昨年はJamie 3:26と共にLocal Talkからリリースした「Testify」 がスマッシュヒット。今後もフランスのClima RecordsやRush Hourからのリリースを控えている。今年はGilles Petersonが運営する「Worldwide FM」の出演や、Sadar Bahar、Dego、Ge-Ologyなどが所属する「sounds familiar」にも加わり。世界中で2人の名前を見る日も近い。
Amsterdam born and based vibemakers KAMMA & MASALO are rising artists in their own right though as a DJ unit they create a whole new dimension of feelings to the crowd. KAMMA’s path to her craft could not have come more naturally. She is the child of parents who both have DJ’d professionally for over 25 years. Delivering a class act performance on last year’s Dimensions Festival was one of many highlights in her blooming journey. MASALO, Dutch-Japanese music creative has been consistently building his craft over the years. His profound approach is well-expressed in versatile and ecstatic DJ-sets. Together with Chicago’s Jamie 3:26, MASALO recently released “Testify”, a dancefloor destroyer on Local Talk Records. Getting support from Antal, Hunee and Tamo Sumo to name a few. Together they run dance party series Brighter Days. A colourful get together drawing one of the city’s most up for it crowds with guest appearances from local and international heatmakers. Yukari BB (Especial Records Sessions)
1996年よりレコード屋で働き始め、2000年にDJ活動をスタート。Kyoto Jazz Massiveの沖野修也氏監修によるソウルフルハウスのコンピレーション・シリーズ 「JOYRIDE」で知られる女性DJユニットのメンバーとして活躍後、渡英。現地のクラブシーンを体感し、その経験が後のキャリアに多大な影響を与える。帰国後2007年からイギリス拠点のダンスミュージック専門オンライン・レコードストア、Juno Recordsの日本支部を運営。東京を中心に、中国、ヨーロッパなどでのDJツアーも遂行し、好評を博した。2013年より拠点を京都に移し、クロスオーヴァー・シーンの数少ない女性DJとして活動の幅を広げている。 https://www.mixcloud.com/yukaribb/
Masaki Tamura (Do it JAZZ!)
DJ / Architecture Designer。2003年に活動開始以降、新譜・旧譜問わずJAZZを軸とした選曲を得意とし、京都を代表するJAZZ / CROSSOVERイベント”Do it JAZZ!”を中心に様々なイベントを手掛ける。デジタルに傾倒していくシーンに一石を投じるべく、BLACK MUSICをルーツに持つバンド・DJを集めて”日曜日の夕方から濃い生音を”というコンセプトのもと行われた”FREE YOUR MIND (METRO京都)”のプロデュースや、LIVE, ART,FOOD,DJの複合的要素を含む大阪を代表するJAZZ系イベント”BOSSANOVA underground (NOON+Cafe)を通してLIVEアーティストからの信頼も厚く、選曲の幅を生かしカフェ、ラウンジ等のサウンドサポートも行う等、京都・大阪・東京を中心に活躍中。昨年は 沖野修也がプロデュースする渋谷"THE ROOM"にて行われた"新生音JAZZ"にてレジデンツ沖野修也・松浦俊夫に続きDJとして抜擢、ヨーロッパシーンで活躍するHUGO LX、Aroop Royそして新世代バンドWONKを招待、Degoやfloating pointのサポートを務めた。
SOTA ( pride&joy / Rokujian)
月に10本以上のDJをこなす現場主義な選曲は４つ打ちを軸にHOUSE,DISCO,TECHNOとフロアを飽きさせず抜群の安定感。京都・東京のクラブ現場にて海外アーティストのサポートDJを数多く担当し、先月京都の音好きが集まる”WEST HARLEM”にてスウェーデンの人気リエディットレーベルである”Gamm”” Basic Fingers “の主催MAD MATSの京都ツアーを成功に導いたのも記憶に新しい。
Torei (SND)
2014年より京都、大阪にてDJ活動を開始。West Harlemにてイベント「HUgE」、「SND」を主催。また年間平均40本を超えるDJをこなして修行中。DJスタイルはハウス、ディスコを中心に、更なるグルーヴ求めてワールドミュージックへ。近年は広く活躍するアーティストと共演を重ねており、特にMad Matsからは近年で最も興奮したDJと賞賛を受ける。 https://soundcloud.com/torei00
